I was pleasantly surprised because upon walking by the cafe restaurant it didn't look like much. Nothing fancy, kinda like a counter order out place, but yet had some seats to dine in. I had read the menu ahead of time and saw that they had "lion head" meatballs which my father had told me he enjoyed eating when he was younger. We took a seat in the dining area and ordered a bunch of dishes including the "lion head meatballs". Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They even had freshly made sticky rice wrapped in a leaf and chive pockets on display (which we added to our order as well). This location is a bit further out than the similar places that are closer to home, but because the freshness and price, I'd rather go to this place. Ima fan!

I grew up coming to Little Taipei Plaza, so this place has a lot of nostalgia for me. Businesses have come and go over the years, and the 99 Ranch Market has now become an Osaka Market. Where the Chase Bank is now, there used to be a video rental store, and it was the place to rent Chinese-dubbed cartoons and TV shows. There used to be a Taiwanese bento box next door. Now there's Boiling Point, a Teaspoon, and Old Taro, and a few different non-Taiwanese businesses like a Korean restaurant. Still happy to see this place alive and existing 30+ years later.

Mission Square or "Little Taipei Plaza" as it is commonly known as. parking lot is small. it's worst when delivery trucks park in same parking spaces since there is no back road/alley for them to park (so it seems). tenants: -99 Ranch -Gourmet House -Citibank -Boiling Point -Alberdeen Cafe. Taipei Cafe -Happy Lemon. One Tea. Gong Cha -Mom's Tofu -Tous Les Tours -ipho -Poke House others: -101 teas, optometry, shopping notes: -tenant turnovers continue, Causeway is gone -less taiwanese businesses here as before. new ones probably going to Marina Food site or elsewhere -parking is trying at peak hours....

Grew up visiting this place for the best in Chinese food and groceries. It's a classic meet up joint for family gatherings with a great assortment of restaurants.

Little Taipei Plaza or Mission Square Shopping Center, whatever you want to call it...signs throughout the plaza say Mission Square but us Chinese know it was Little Taipei Plaza... This shopping is center is thriving but that's only thanks to 99 Ranch Market. When it was Lion, it wasn't really thriving, but now that mass Asian Supermarket 99 comes in, everyone flocks here, not just customers but new tenants too! Many fancy new restaurants have opened up here, making the center one of the busiest in the area! It's popping no matter what time of day you come or even day you come, it's busy all week long! Boiling Point Gong Cha One Tea Aberdeen Cafe Causeway Bay Tous Les Jours and many more... So many new eateries and shops have opened up here in the hopes of getting good business thanks to 99. When 99 comes, they all come. Haha. The parking lot is not big enough for this type of thriving shopping center. There really is not enough parking spaces. Parking is limited to 3 hours only. There are signs posted around the shopping center to remind customers of that. Even on a weekday, it is very hard to find parking during lunch and afternoon hours. Dinner is probably worse. It's really hard to find parking, we had to circle around a few times just to find a space to simply shop at 99 Ranch...

Yes this is a ghetto ass plaza but this is where you go to get real authentic Chinese food. There are plenty of eats in this plaza which include a Pho place, Alberdeen Cafe, the food court and a bento place for Taiwanese food. I've tried all of those mentioned above and by far the best place is the ghetto looking food court next to the now closed Lion Market. Yes it looks dirty but for me, the dirtier the Chinese place, the more authentic the food and this place sure hits the spot. Noodle soups, oyster pancakes, green onion pancakes, bento boxes are some of the goodies that you'll find. Im here at least once every 2 weeks when i get lazy for cook for lunch and never leave disappointed!

This is the only Chinese shopping center in South Fremont. It is anchored by Lion Supermarket. Of all of the Lion Supermarket's that I have been to, this is by far the smallest one. No problem, though, as you can still get all of the same items that the larger Milpitas location has. There also plenty of restaurants located within the shopping center, such as Cafe Ophelia and Fishi Cafe. The only downside is that it is very tough to get a parking spot during weekday lunch or on the weekends.
